Cairo Uni. DPPCR Students visit the FUB

Four DPPCR students from Cairo University visited the Free University in Berlin (FUB) within the framework of the international students exchange programs within the framework of the DPPCR Project. The visit included attending classes on various topics such as Children-out-of Place & Child Rights and Work & Education of Children in an International and Intercultural Comparison within the masters program on "Childhood Studies and the Children's Rights" at the FUB; as well as visiting the German Institute for Human Rights, German Children's Fund and the National Coalition for the implementation of the UNCRC in Germany. The Egyptian students said about their visit: "We enjoyed our visit to Berlin very much. And visiting the different organizations was very useful especially that the Institutes are working on the integration of human rights in the decisions of domestic and foreign policy and in monitoring the implementation of international treaties on human rights and we want that to be done in Egypt. Attending classes was really interesting we enjoyed the different topics and we hope we can apply it back in Egypt". You can find more photos in the photo gallery. |
